Protesters gather outside the High Commission of India to demand justice for the killings at the Bangladesh/Indian border, and to denounce Indian interference in the national elections in Bangladesh.

Elections in Bangladesh have been historically violent with the landscape dominated by two opposing parties, the socialist-secular AL and the conservative-nationalist BNP. These protesters want to see an end to the violence between political parties.
The current Bangladeshi flag was created in 1973. The green is supposed to represent the natural beauty of the land. The red circle represents the sun rising over the land, and its colour is a homage to the Bangladeshi blood lost in the war of independence.
Allegations of Indian interference in the January national elections in Bangladesh sparked a wave of 'India out' protests. Protesters claim that India backed the Awami League to support its own economic interests in the country, and Bangladeshi protesters are tired of the violence and corruption.
