The protest took place opposite Downing street, on Richmond Terrace. Attendees held placards, and listened to impactful speeches whilst sharing their condemnation of the Rwanda scheme.

The Rwanda scheme sprung to life this week (30/04/2024) Despite Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announcing on the 22/04/2024 that the first flights to Rwanda would be in 10-12 weeks.

The British police have started detaining refugees in preparation for deportation which has encouraged several pro-immigration groups to arrange protests and demonstrations.
